Despite a growing number of signups, Influeri faced a significant challenge: many users would explore the platform but seldom complete a campaign draft - a critical first step to realizing the platform's value.
To address this, Influeri's team started reaching out to new ICP signups. However, as the volume of signups increased, this approach became unsustainable, taking too much time away from important customer delivery work. The company needed a scalable solution to guide users towards activation and integrate them into the sales process effectively.
Solution
Influeri partnered with Saltfish to implement an AI-generated, in-app video onboarding experience. This personalized welcome video guides users through the platform, highlighting key features and assisting them in creating their first campaign draft.
By embedding this experience directly into the user's first session, Influeri provided immediate, contextual guidance without requiring users to leave the platform. The video walkthrough demystified the campaign creation process, encouraging users to engage more deeply with the platform's capabilities.
Outcome
The introduction of Saltfish in the onboarding experience led to a noticeable decrease in support inquiries related to basic platform navigation and campaign setup. More importantly, a higher percentage of new signups progressed to creating their first campaign draft, a key activation milestone.
This shift allowed Influeri's Customer Success team to reallocate their efforts from routine onboarding tasks to strategic account development and growth initiatives.
