Today we're announcing Saltfish

We’ve spent years building video products — from live streaming platforms to creative tools — and we’ve seen firsthand how powerful video is at capturing attention and creating connection. It’s the most engaging medium in the world, but historically it's also been the most expensive to produce, hardest to maintain, and stuck in one-off efforts delivered 1-to-many. This is about to change.

We started Saltfish because we believe video shouldn’t be locked away in marketing campaigns or explainer videos. It should be alive, adaptable, and everywhere your customers are - guiding them, engaging them, and driving action in real time.

Saltfish Interactive video for the web

Saltfish is already powering hundreds of thousands of user experiences across the world. Dozens of forward-leaning companies such as Bokio, Contrast, and OtterlyAI use Saltfish to generate and embed interactive video touchpoints directly into their customer journeys.

These touchpoints help them welcome visitors, explain products, and guide users at the exact moment it matters most - all with video that feels personal, dynamic, and easy to update.

Built by people who love video

We’re a small team with deep experience in video, data, and design. We've founded video companies with +100,000s of users, built state-of-the-art video transcoding pipelines and deployed large scale infrastructure to deliver video to millions of people per day. Most of all, we're passionate about making the web a little more alive.

Backed by great Investors

We’re grateful to be supported by phenomenal partners who share our vision. Today we’re announcing our first funding round of $730,000, led by Antler with participation from Further than Capital, Operators & Friends, Martin Kõiva (founder of Klaus), Juha Valvanne (founder of Nosto), Moaffak Ahmed (serial entrepreneur & angel investor), Leo Giertz (serial entrepreneur & former GP) and Nicholas S. Jacobsson (founder of Influeri).

Do you believe in video as much as we do? Reach out - we're always happy to talk.
