Opportunity
With strong inbound demand and a fast-growing self-serve motion, AndSend saw an opportunity to better support new users during their first sessions. The product is packed with valuable features, but like many powerful tools, it requires some initial setup and orientation to get the most out of it.
The existing onboarding flow covered the essentials, but relied heavily on static content. The team wanted a more engaging, intuitive way to help users understand how the product fits into their workflow and guide them through those first steps with clarity and confidence.

AndSend partnered with Saltfish to launch an interactive, in-app onboarding experience featuring Alexandra, their Head of Customer Success.
The multi-step flow walks new users through what AndSend does, how it fits into their workflow, and how to take meaningful first steps. Each video is short, clear, and tied directly to the interface, making the experience easy to follow and confidence-building.
Users can choose to opt in or explore on their own, allowing for flexibility without enforcing a rigid path. The result is a more approachable and human onboarding journey that reflects AndSend’s brand and values.
Outcome
The Saltfish onboarding experience has become a trusted part of AndSend’s self-serve flow - delivering clear, in-product guidance right when users need it most. It gives new signups a strong foundation to understand how the platform works and what to do next, all without relying on support or live demos.

Building on the foundation of their interactive onboarding experience, AndSend is now expanding its use of Saltfish across the product to support users beyond their first session.
New video touchpoints are being embedded throughout the app to progressively educate users, highlight advanced features, and offer timely guidance exactly when it’s needed.
