These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Saltfish platform, operated by Saltfish AB ("Saltfish", "we", "us"). By using our platform, website, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Saltfish
Saltfish AB is a Swedish company that provides a platform for creating and embedding interactive video experiences into web applications. Our registered office is Roslagsgatan 45, 113 54 Stockholm, Sweden. Org. no. 559493-4670.
2. Use of the Service
You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Saltfish's platform for its intended purpose, subject to these Terms. You must not:
Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code
Use the platform for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
Upload or distribute content that infringes on third-party rights
Saltfish may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms.
3. User Accounts
You may register using email or your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account.
4. Customer Content
You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you create using Saltfish, including videos, scripts, audio, and uploaded data. By using the platform, you grant Saltfish a limited license to process this content solely for the purpose of delivering the service.
You are responsible for ensuring that no sensitive personal data (as defined under GDPR) is included in content you upload.
5. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Saltfish platform, including software, documentation, and brand assets, remain the exclusive property of Saltfish AB. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the platform to you.
6. Data Protection
Saltfish processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details. We can provide a Data Processing Agreement as well available upon request.
7. Subprocessors
Saltfish uses the following subprocessors:
Google Cloud Platform (EU) – infrastructure and data storage
ElevenLabs (EU/US) – AI audio generation
PostHog (EU) – analytics and session replays (for Saltfish-owned services)

8. Availability & Support
Saltfish aims to provide reliable access to its services but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Support may be provided via email or in-app chat, at our discretion.
9. Payment Terms
If you subscribe to a paid plan, pricing and payment terms will be outlined separately at the time of subscription. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified.
10. Warranty Disclaimer
Saltfish provides the platform "as is" without any warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Saltfish's liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the last 12 months. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms or for operational reasons. You may terminate your use of the platform at any time.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Sweden, with Stockholms tingsrätt as the first instance.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website or email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
